Volunteering

Volunteers are a blessing for a facility such as St. Anne's. Often volunteers do tasks that are very important and needed by a not-for-profit organization. More so volunteers are a part of St. Anne's mission. Each in their way helps bring the ‘Goodness and kindness of Jesus’ to the people we serve. Whether a volunteer –

  • serves on our board of directors
  • folds in our laundry
  • takes care of a garden
  • keeps vigil with residents who are dying
  • serves as staff of our resident’s store or our ‘White Elephant’ resale shop
  • assists with projects such as our Heart & Soul fund raiser or a rummage sale
  • assists with activities such as bingo or current events
  • makes beds
  • plays the organ, sings, lectors or serves as eucharistic minister
  • transports residents or helps in the beauty shop

Every important job is done with a willing heart by our 130+ volunteers. Each contributes a piece of a masterful quilt of services. It is those services that help the Sisters of the Divine Savior, the administration and staff of St. Anne's maintain the wonderful reputation we enjoy. Word of mouth is our primary source of admissions.
